The mission of ADEM is to promote qualitative and quantitative improvement
of the Education system through training, research and consultancy
in Educational Management and Administration and hence to produce both
effective and efficient professional educational managers and administrators.

ADEM will focus on conducting professional long courses that will lead to the award of management certificates, ordinary diplomas to relevant trainees in the field of educational management and provision of in-service short management courses to educational administrators such as school/college heads, Regional and District Educational personnel, Ward Education
Co-ordinators and school committees so as to involve lower organs and communities in the management and administration of educational institutions.
ADEM will be the main supplier of training and learning materials in educational management expertise.
ADEM will practice and further an image of the Institute as a centre of excellence in Management Skills and Development.
